Nun Expedition – 22N/23D

Nun (7135m) is one of the highest peak of Suru valley which is located in Zanskar Himalayas. The massif is located near the Suru Valley, the most frequented climbing area, the Nun-Kun massif comprises of several peaks, chief among them being Nun (7135m) and Kun (7087m).Nun is approachable from Tangol (70 km. from Kargil) the base camp can be reached after a day’s trek from Tangol.

Situated at the western edge of the Tibetan plateau, Ladakh is bound by the mighty Karokaram mountain range in the north and the Great Himalayas in the South. You will be delighted as you walk Rumtse to Tso Moriri Trek to hear the chirping of varied birds such as Horned Larks, Finch, brown-headed gulls, brahminy ducks, bar-headed geese, etc. The bar-headed goose is the highest-flying bird in the world. You will also see some beautiful high-altitude animals like Kyang, blue sheep, marmots, Himalayan ibex and snow leopards, etc.

Kang Yatse I & II Expedition – 14N/15D

Located in Hemis National Park in the heart of Markha Valley, Ladakh, Kang Yatse I at a daunting altitude of 6,400M, is a technical peak which is also challenging in other ways. The mountain has two main summits, one of which is Kang Yatse I with the other one being Kang Yatse II which at an altitude of 6,240M is much easier and hence frequently climbed.While Kang Yatse II is a favorite amongst trekkers looking for a non-technical trekking peak, Kang Yatse I is meant for experienced mountaineers with technical knowledge, looking for a challenge. The expedition calls for some specific skills of ice and snow climbing, and excellent physical fitness in addition to high levels of stamina. With a steep summit climb, moraines, crevasses, technical boulder sections and a steep couloir that demands extreme fitness and endurance, the expedition requires the use of technical mountaineering equipment and skills suited for its terrain. The summit gives you impressive views of the renowned peaks such as Stok Kangri, Dzo Jongo and the infamous Karakoram Range of mountains.
